How do you deliver?
We like to support our local delivery guy wherever possible so we mostly use Couriers Please, once your order is picked up we will send you your tracking number.
When will you send my order?
If the fabric you have ordered is in stock then we will send your order in 1-2 days. If your fabric is one that needs to be made then we will notify you to see if you are happy to wait, would like to change your mind or we can refund your order.
Do you ship overseas?
We are working hard on this and will be able to in the near future.
How can I pay for my order?
You can pay by Credit or Debit card and PAYPAL.
Where do your fabrics come from?
All our fabrics are Australian Made, using Australian Wool. We are also certified a Carbon Neutral organisation and all our fabrics are Carbon Neutral Products. We also have all our fabrics 3rd party certified GECA (Good Environmental Choice Australia) which is a world recognised GEN ecolabel. By buying our fabrics you are supporting local industry and our environment.
Do you have a showroom, how can I see your fabrics?
We are currently not operating a showroom but we do offer a sample ordering system for a fee of $1 per sample (with free shipping). We do encourage all potential customers to order samples to ensure that you are happy with the quality of the fabric and the colour. We endeavour to match our fabrics to the screen as much as we can, but please remember that all screens are different and getting the colour right is an important part of creating the perfect project.
Will my fabric be exactly the same as my sample?
Variations in colour may occur between batches and from samples to bulk. Such variations will be within commercially accepted tolerances. Where an order is to match fabric previously supplied the batch should be specified. SLF accepts no responsibility for batches being mixed.
We only ship within Australia.
Shipping costs are worked out on weight in your shopping cart.
We stock all our fabrics however we may not always have your quantity in stock - if fabric is in stock expect delivery time of 3 – 7 days. If not in stock you will receive an email from us with a leadtime on your fabric, you can wait, change your mind or receive a refund.
We use Couriers Please for most metro deliveries. Couriers Please has advised that you may experience delivery delays due to Covid-19 impacts – please refer to your tracking details for updates.
We may use other shipping methods in country or remote areas but you will still receive an email with tracking details.
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email containing your tracking number.
Our Warehouse is in Victoria and is operating as normal through current COVID 19 – stage 4 restrictions. Please bear in mind that couriers are experiencing service delays – so do allow time for extended delivery times.
What if I'm not home when my order is delivered?
To ensure the security of your order, someone will need to sign for the delivery, unless you opted at the checkout to receive the delivery without a signature. Alternatively you can add a note in My Cart for any specific delivery instructions that you may have. If you’re not home, the courier will leave a number for you to call so you can organise a re-delivery time that suits you. Once your parcel has been signed for you will be responsible for any damage to or loss of your items.
As we cut our fabrics to your specific lengths we are not able to facilitate returns or exchanges on change of mind so please choose carefully and purchase samples to make sure you are going to be happy with your fabric choice. Where the fabric has been incorrectly supplied, a full credit will be given and SLF will arrange for the fabric to be collected.
Sustainable Living Fabrics Pty Ltd warrants its fabrics for a period of up to twelve (12) years from date of invoice, against faulty manufacture and wear- through in normal indoor commercial seating and workstation use by the original end-use customer.
